Taking the Leap

In 2022, I was working a job that didn’t fulfill me, stuck in a position where I saw no room to grow. That’s when I realized I needed to make a change. I had always dreamed of starting my own business, so I took the leap—quitting my job to follow my passion for crochet and creativity.

In 2023, I dove into craft shows, unsure if there was a market for crochet goods. To my surprise, people loved what I was making! My brand, Benson and Carfield, took off faster than I could have imagined. It was an exciting, humbling moment to see how much my handmade items resonated with others.
